Salon Business Solutions (SBS)

Salon Business Solutions take a different approach to haircare. They offer premium quality salon supplies and professional hair products for both salon use and personal care at home. Founded by four friends with over 80 years of combined experience in the hair and beauty industry, Salon Business Solutions was created to address the lack of support from suppliers and have built strong relationships within the industry and understand the daily challenges salons face.

The Challenge

Salon Business Solutions faced several challenges with their previous supplier, including an unreliable phone system and frequent internet outages, which disrupted communication between management and staff using softphone and mobile apps.

In the warehouse, unstable Wi-Fi caused dropped connections during phone calls and while processing orders through the EPOS system, leading to lost customer orders. Additionally, their IT support was inadequate, with poor cybersecurity measures, weak backup solutions, and incorrect advice from the previous provider. The lack of communication between their separate IT support and telecoms/internet suppliers further complicated operations, preventing a streamlined and cohesive setup.

The Solution

CloudFusion implemented a comprehensive solution for Salon Business Solutions, beginning with a leased line to provide a stable internet connection, improving staff communication and preventing service disruptions. They also deployed a secure firewall and Unify Wi-Fi system, including access points, routers, switches, firewall and base stations, ensuring effective network management. CloudFusion installed the LG iPECS cloud phone system, complete with iPECS One softphone and mobile app for staff and field sales agents.

For IT, CloudFusion integrated a Microsoft environment, including 365, Defender, backup, and email signature solutions. After six months of stable connectivity, phone systems, and secure IT services, CloudFusion advised Salon Business Solutions on the relevant CRM system. To further enhance operations, CloudFusion implemented Daktela, an omnichannel contact center that integrates with their CRM and allows seamless communication with customers via social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

Moving to CloudFusion provided Salon Business Solutions with stable, fully integrated technology solutions where all systems communicate seamlessly. The software and systems are future-proof and scalable, ensuring easy growth.
